About Leni


Leni Christine Jebsen is the Director of C-MOMENTUM AS , a Norwegian based company she founded in 2003. She oversees all of the company's efforts with private and corporate organizations and teams, and works directly with select individual clients from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. From individuals to large organizations, Leni ensures that C-MOMENTUM clients grow in their careers and personal lives, develop strong leadership, increase team performance and create outstanding results.

 

Whether she has been contributing to the success of large corporations or launching her own companies, Leni Christine Jebsen has witnessed firsthand the contribution that effective teams and individuals make to an organization - and the wasted potential when these critical components lie undeveloped.

 

"Although I was able to quickly adapt to new environments," recalls Leni, "I saw many people who were at the mercy of work systems that caused them to burn-out, and that disturbed me. Soon I began to recognize a predictable result whenever certain factors existed: poor communication or delegation; lack of acknowledgement; or tasks that were poorly matched to a person's talents. These seemed to account for a large percentage of the personal and organizational distress that I witnessed. Basically, they were not skilled at managing change."

 

Not wanting to fall prey to this trap herself motivated Leni to break away and form her own private company. That soon led to the development of C-MOMENTUM AS to help individuals and their organizations harness the potential that lies untapped in so many work environments and interpersonal relationships.

 

"Positive growth requires an understanding of the beneficial role that change plays in our lives. Embracing change is vital to every modern entity, whether that's an individual, a relationship, a team, or a whole organization. Yet most of our energies are often spent trying to avoid change and uphold the status quo."

 

Determined to help others see possibilities rather than limitations when facing change, Leni began bringing together the best of several disciplines, including emotional intelligence, systems theory, relationship development, and co-active coaching. The result is a unique approach that results in increasing positivity and productivity to help individuals and teams maximize their performance, while focusing on values that matter.

 

An important part of Leni's work is leadership and team training where she employs a systems approach in her coaching - namely, that all aspects of the system need to be addressed in order for effective change to occur. She uses the proprietary Team Management Profile and The Team Diagnostic Assessment to help individuals and organizations pinpoint the areas in which to focus their energies for optimal return on their efforts.

 

With a direct and straightforward manner of engagement, Leni's particular skill is empowering people to make powerful, value based choices. This approach led to her role as an international trainer and a faculty member of the prestigious Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and for the Center for Right Relationship (CRR).

 

Leni's interpersonal skills also allow her to contribute in her personal life. As a mother of four she spends her time with her family and friends, traveling the world and dancing Argentine Tango. In fact, this led her to utilize her co-active coaching methods in a leadership role within her local community. The result: she and her board members coordinated to breathe new life into the local tango club, increasing membership by 500% and establishing huge increases in profitability to secure the future of the organization.
