General Information
Our Terms of Service & Privacy Policy outlines the rules for using our sites and our relationship with you. By using this and all other websites either owned or operated, by C-MOMENTUM AS, you consent to our use of cookies and pixels in accordance with the terms of this policy.
Your safety and privacy is important to us. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, which came into force May 25th, 2018. Our Terms and Privacy Policy will help you better understand how we collect and manage your data as well as why, including outlining your rights to control your data.
The Terms of Service & Privacy Policy covers our treatment of information gathered when you are using or accessing our sites and covers our treatment of any information about you that you provide us with. The Terms of Service & Privacy Policy will hereafter be referred to as the “Policy”.
The Terms of Service & Privacy Policy governs all use of C-MOMENTUM AS websites and all content, services, and products made available through our sites. The websites operated and owned by C-MOMENTUM AS are c-momentum.no, c-mometum.com, any landing pages we create, as well as our calendars on Youcanbook.me and our profiles and/or pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, collectively referred to as the “Site”.
The Site is owned and operated by C-MOMENTUM AS, referred to as “c-momentum”, and controlled and operated through our office in Bergen, Norway. The Site is offered subject to your acceptance, without modification of any terms and conditions.
Please read this Policy carefully before accessing or using the Site. By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Policy, then you may not access the Site or use any of its services.
Privacy Policy
The Information We Collect
We collect personally identifiable information from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, opt-ins and online forms when you order products and services. We further collect information from you when you sign up for coaching as well as in other instances where you are invited to volunteer information, including, but not limited to, when you place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. When ordering or registering as a client, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, billing address, mailing address, phone number and other information relevant to the service you have ordered by use of a client intake form. We will not ask for your social security number or your credit card information. All billing information is gathered through our Site and further handled by a third-party provider.
Through our Web hosting company, ProISP, we also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site. This may include information such as your computer’s internet protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages you visit on our sites, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on different pages and other statistics.
In addition, we use third-party services such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and other services that collect, monitor and analyze the digital behaviors of our visitors to improve your user experience and to provide us with statistical information.
Cookies
Cookies are files with small amounts of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Like many sites, we use cookies to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our sites.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to analyze user behavior on the Site and gives us information such as the number of visitors, page views, visit times, traffic from, geographic location, motion pattern, and more.
Facebook Pixel
A pixel is a graphic with dimensions of 1 pixel by 1 pixel that is loaded when a user visits a website or opens an email. It is used to track certain user activities such as, but not limited to, conversions, events and retargeted data.
What We Use Your Information For
Any of the information we collect from you may be used to personalize your experience, improve our Site, improve customer service, provide you with a service or a product and send periodic emails. The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates in regard to, and connected, to your order, and to maintain our relationship with you when you sign up for coaching, hereunder individual coaching, leadership coaching, team coaching and any other service we provide that is subject to a written contract.
When you opt-in to one or more of our mailing list, download any of our products, or when you sign up for a webinar we host or a course we provide, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. When you sign up, you consent to receive information from us.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from our mailing list(s) so as not to receive future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email pertaining to our newsletter.
Security and How We Protect Your Information
The security of your personal information is important to us. Please note that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and that the use of security measures is not a guarantee that information supplied over the Internet will not be intercepted. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We implement a variety of security measures – physical, electronic and managerial – to maintain the safety of your personal information and to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control.
As of May 2018, we have updated all our records and upgraded all our systems to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
All our sites have an SSL certificate and are protected by firewalls and antivirus programs. We regularly update our software to have the most recent versions to make sure that both your and our data is well protected. All supplied information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our providers’ databases, only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and who are required to keep the information confidential. After submitting coaching client forms, your private information will be stored on servers provided by ProISP, located in Norway and on servers operated by Cognito Forms, located in the USA. All our suppliers and third-party providers are GDPR compliant and, if necessary, Privacy Shield Certified or under a signed Standard Contractual Clause.
Disclosure of Information to Outside Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except to provide you with the products or services you have requested. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential and are GDPR compliant. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies or protect ours or other’s rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable information may be provided to other parties for statistics, marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Email Policy
We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. We do not sell, rent or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third-party individual, government agency or company at any time unless compelled to do so by law. We will use your email address solely to provide you with timely information about c-momentum and our programs and services, promotions, news and offers from trusted partners as well as articles we think you will find useful.
All emails sent from c-momentum will clearly state who the email is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. In addition, all email messages connected to our mailing list(s) will also contain concise information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list(s) so that you receive no further email communication from us should you want to opt out of our mailing list(s).
Deletion of Information
The personally identifiable information we have in our database regarding you, except signed contracts and billing/invoice information, can, and will, be deleted upon a request from you. Information received in coaching client intake forms will automatically be deleted within 12 months after the end of a coaching client relationship (private clients) and within 2 years after the end of a leader or team coaching contract (corporate/business clients).
When our system shows that emails have not been opened or read we will go ahead and delete your email address from our mailing list after 5 unopened consecutive emails. Before doing so, we will send you a last heads up to check if you still want to receive information from us.
Your Rights
As a user of the Site and/or as a client, your data protection rights are as follows:
- The right to know what kind of information we collect as well as how and where it is stored
- The right to update your data
- The right to have your data erased
- The right to restrict processing
- The right to object to processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to complain to a supervisory authority
- The right to withdraw consent

Terms of Service
Intellectual Property
All material on the Site, as well as the layout of the Site, is owned by c-momentum unless otherwise stated. As c-momentum respects others intellectual property rights, we ask that you respect our intellectual property rights. You may access, download and print materials on the Site for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content, information, products or services obtained from the Site without first obtaining written consent from c-momentum. You are of course free to share our articles and posts using the Site sharing functions. Should you want to use an excerpt or quote, please remember to credit us.
Copyright infringement
C-momentum takes the utmost precautions to make sure that we do not violate any copyright laws.However, if you believe that material located on the Site violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify c-momentum. We will respond to such notices and will, should infringement have taken place, remove the infringing material.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for taking precautions as necessary to protect yourself and your computer systems from viruses, worms, trojan horses, and other harmful or destructive content. You are also responsible for, when commenting on posts on the Site, to make sure that comments you upload are free from malware and offensive content.
Disclaimer
The Site should not at any time contain content that is offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable and will at all times take precautions to make sure this remains so. In the case that a user has uploaded such content, c-momentum will at first available opportunity remove it. We are, however, not responsible for potential damage done by unauthorized use. Nor are we responsible for such comments and the possible negative effect they may have.
The Site may contain content with technical inaccuracies, typographical mistakes, and other errors. C-momentum disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from the use of the Site and is not responsible for any actions, or the consequences thereof, as a result of using the Site and/or our products and services.
The Site contains links to other sites. C-momentum is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites. Inclusion of links to an outside website, whether in an advertisement or content area on our Site, is not a guarantee that the information it contains is accurate. Any and all sites will have separate and independent terms of service and privacy policies. We therefore take no responsibility for the content and activities of these linked sites. However, we seek to protect the integrity of our Site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless c-momentum, our contractors, licensors and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of your use of the Site, our services or products.
Changes to the Policy
The Terms of Service & Privacy Policy is effective as of May 25th, 2018 and will remain in effect until the time revisions and updates are made.
We reserve the right to update and/or change our Policy at any time and ask that you check our Policy periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications of the Policy on our Site will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Policy.
If we make any material changes to the Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us with, or by placing a prominent notice on our Site. We are continually making sure we comply with international regulations in this and other business practices.
Payment
The Site does not handle payments for coaching services, assessments or any other service or product c-momentum offers. All sales are made directly with c-momentum, either over the phone, via email, zoom or through personal meetings after which an invoice is sent to the e-mail provided by you, the customer. Invoice and payments are handled through secure third-parties who all are GDPR-compliant.
Once we have been notified by the payment processor that a payment has been made, access will, as soon as possible, be granted to the product or service being purchased.
Payment issues or disputes should be solved directly with c-momentum. Should such disputes not be resolved, the issue will be handled through the minor civil court in Bergen, Norway.
